A special project of giving has spread further this year.
Last year, as a Christmas gift, the mother of SMC teacher Richard Majic, knitted a touque for each member of the junior boys basketball team that her son coaches.
Then Covid-19 struck, and Mrs. Majic, who was house bound, began knitting. Initially she donated the finished items for the refugee students but now her knitting has evolved a bit further with the AYEP class selling them for “Entrepreneurship Day” with all proceeds going to Heaven Cent.
In total, Mrs. Majic knitted 125 toques and 30 sets of mittens this year.
All we can say is WOW!
