Voluntary COVID-19 Testing in Blind River

The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board in partnership with the Ministry of Education are pleased to notify you that voluntary asymptomatic COVID-19 testing will be offered through the regional local assessment centres. The voluntary asymptomatic testing will rotate weekly throughout our communities over the coming weeks. Corresponding testing scheduling logistics will be communicated ahead of time on Fridays.


VOLUNTARY ASYMPTOMATIC TESTING
Blind River

When: Wednesday, April 7, 2021 – 8:00 am – 6:00 pm & Thursday, April 8, 2021 – 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Where: North Shore Health Network 525 Causely St. Blind River, ON. Call: 705-356-2265 ext. 2661

Who: Students (elementary, secondary), parents/ guardians, all school staff including occasional/casuals, childcare staff and their enrolled children and parents/guardians and bus drivers.


All asymptomatic testing will be by appointment only. The preferred appointment times for school community testing are on the days and times listed above. Arrangements for appointments outside these school allocated times may be possible by contacting the North Shore Health Network.

At the time of booking, the North Shore Health Network will provide you with all logistical information for your testing day and rebook with you directly should any appointment changes be necessary due to local COVID-19 lockdown procedures or outbreaks.
