Welcome! Bonjour! Annin!
At St. Joseph French Immersion School we provide a safe and caring environment that is Christ-centered and one in which all our children can learn and grow with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become competent, responsible citizens.
Working together in respectful partnership with our staff and students, our families, our parish, and our community, we continue to build a school that demonstrates excellence in education for our children.
We are guided by our Ontario Catholic Graduate expectations, which call for our students to become discerning believers formed in the Catholic community, effective communicators, reflective and creative thinkers, self-directed, responsible life-long learners, collaborative contributors, and caring family members.
A close partnership with St. Monica Parish is nurtured at our school. Father Michael Asorgoe frequently visits and our students play a leading role in our celebrations of the Mass. At school, preparation for the Sacraments assists our children in developing their faith. Our School Council is a dynamic advisory body that meets monthly to plan and organize for success for our children. All parents, grandparents and guardians are welcome to attend Council meetings.
Together as a learning community, including our students, staff, families and our parish, we look forward to “Serving in the Love of Christ” and living our mission statement, which is to mutually invite, encourage and support one another in our efforts to transform the world.
In compliance with the Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board is committed to providing accommodations to persons with disabilities. The Board will take into account the person’s ability to access information and will provide the information contained in Board-produced public documents in a format that meets those needs as agreed upon with the person.
