HSCDSB Chair Laurie Aceti and Bill O'Donnell hold up a cheque for $5,175.44 that was presented to the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace at the June 20th Board of Trustees meeting.
The money was raised during the Board's annual Walk for Justice, which was held during Catholic Education Week in May.
Overall throughout the school year the Board's school communities raised well over ten thousand dollars for Development and Peace.
