Staff from Our Lady of Lourdes were on hand bright and early this morning for the official opening of the new Walmart Supercentre in the Station Mall.

 

Gail Biocchi-Rebek accepted a cheque from Assistant Manager Jeff Charron and Associate Kim Monk (photo below) as part of Walmart's monetary gift to the school.   Our Lady of Lourdes was selected for the new store's Adopt-A-School Program.   A decade ago Our Lady of Lourdes was the first school selected by the Walmart store on Great Northern Road as its adopted school.
