It was an exciting day for students and staff of Holy Cross Catholic Elementary school as the first group of students walked into the new school.
Students gathered in the spacious play area on the east side of the school after getting off their respective buses. You could feel the anticipation in the air as the students waited for the doors to open at 9 o'clock.
The first group of students to take residence are those in Grades 5 through 8. They will get an entire week to get used to their new surroundings before the JK to Grade 4 students join them at the new Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School.
