Best Start is a partnership between the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and Ministry of Education who in turn are partnering with parents, families, school boards, public health units, child care and children's services providers, and municipalities. In essence, Best Start is to strengthen early childhood development and to have children eager and ready to learn by the time they enroll in the Junior Kindergarten program. As a Catholic community we understand that we play a vital role in the care and development of all the young people.
