POSITION:     Continuing Education – Virtual Teaching Position for After School Enrichment Program

LOCATION:     Virtual (Synchronous)                                                   

SCHEDULE:     Schedule of dates (two sessions per week) to be determined
                          with successful candidate.  Up to 75 hours.

RATE OF PAY:     $49.77/hour


The Board is looking for a dynamic teacher who is a strong communicator, has strong interpersonal skills and is a team player as the board delivers a Grade 4 to 6 Enrichment Program. This program is intended to challenge our learners and engage them in “high ceiling” activities with peers of similar abilities. The successful candidate will participate in shaping the program and teach the program virtually to qualifying students.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Junior Division
  • Special Education, Part 1


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Part 1
  • Special Education, Part 2/Specialist
  • Teaching experience in the Junior Division
  • Be comfortable working in a virtual learning environment and have experience working in Google Classroom
  • Have experience accommodating and challenging gifted and/or high achieving students
