Spreading Love

Students in Ms. Borgault’s Grade 4 to 8 class were asked to think about how they might make someone’s Valentine’s day special for staff and residents at Maple View Nursing Home.

They felt making cards would show that we are thinking of them.  This is a feel good way to share our appreciation to all the essential workers.

“My students are amazing young people who are always thinking of others,” said Bourgault.

A student shared with the class that her Mom works at Maple View and she helped to facilitate this project.

After completing the cards they were packaged and sent to Maple View.  A special bonus was some yummy treats for the recipients to enjoy.
