DUTIES:
Responsible for providing administrative support functions and financial support services, including revenue and accounting clerk functions for the Business Department and support for Information Technology Department, as requested.
- complete searches, input/export/validate data and generate reports and lists from various programs and applications;
- source items, provide costing information, prepare/track purchase orders and route paper work to accounts payable;
- review student registrations against assessment roll to confirm catholic school support and follow up with required letter and forms to have support re-directed as required;
- enter staff replacement data into payroll system, responds to questions, and validates data input by others within established timelines;
- assist with special projects, such as verifying information (data validation) for the implementation of the new SIS and assist with records management in Central Office departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- up to three-years of previous job experience in office support including administrative, clerical, and/or financial duties;
- up to six months of on-the-job experience to become familiar with the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board policies and procedures;
- Proficiency in computer systems, including staffing/scheduling, HRIS, payroll, business accounting, Microsoft (e.g., Excel, Word).
