Markers (Various Subject Areas – Secondary)

LOCATION: St. Mary’s College/Holy Angels Learning Centre, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

EFFECTIVE DATE: January – June 2022

RATE OF PAY: $20/booklet

Markers will be responsible for evaluation and grading of Independent Learning coursework booklets in the following subject areas:

• Intermediate/Senior Science
• Intermediate/Senior Mathematics
• Intermediate/Senior English
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• OCT-certified teacher with qualifications in Intermediate/Senior division Science or Intermediate/Senior Mathematics or Intermediate/Senior English
• Alternately, we will also accept applications from post-secondary student currently enrolled in a teacher education program with a focus in one or more of the subject areas identified above

All applications are welcome and will be considered in the following order:  1) Permanent teachers employed by the board, 2) occasional teachers employed by the board; 3) external applicants.
