POSTING: Clerical 2021-28 (Permanent)

LOCATION:  Mount St. Joseph Catholic Education Centre, SSM

EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately

HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours/week, 11 months/year (School Year 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, July & August 8:00 am – 4:00 pm)

SALARY:  $26.97/hour plus vacation pay

DUTIES:

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the candidate will be responsible for the performance of the following duties:

  • Completes searches, inputs data, validates data, and generates reports and lists from programs and applications—EasyConnect and SDS;
  • Supports the staff replacement process, makes emergency call-out requests and maintains record;
  • Enters staff replacement data into payroll system;
  • Monitors visitors access to board office, provides front-counter reception services and directs visitors appropriately;
  • Receives and sorts mail into mailboxes and receives and prepares courier packages;
  • Perform other duties as required by the Executive Assistant to the Director of Education which are within the job description of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in typing/keyboarding;
  • Good knowledge of office procedures and methods;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to perform duties with limited supervision;
  • Required to operate a computer and various software packages;
