Indigenous Summer Program

First Nation, Métis and Inuit students in Grade 7 and 8 have just finished Week 5 of the board’s Mino Bimaadiziwin Summer Program. 

Students have been immersed in cultural teachings and activities including watercolour painting, hoop dancing, pipe ceremony, language, sacred medicines and printmaking with the help of community leaders and Indigenous Graduation Coaches.

The program has been offered both virtually and in-person.
