0px\">: 6 hours\/day<\/span><\/p><p><strong>SALARY:\u00a0<\/strong> $26.97\/hour plus vacation pay<\/p><p><strong>DUTIES:<\/strong><\/p><p>The Educational Assistant\/Early Years Assistant is assigned to the school and reports to the school principal.\u00a0 The Special Education Assistant\/Early Years Assistant will be responsible for performing the following duties:<\/p><ul><li>provide the necessary assistance to students with special needs, including behaviours;<\/li><li>required to provide support to students within a classroom;<\/li><li>may be required to provide support to students outdoors (yard);<\/li><li>assist the classroom teacher in the preparation of materials required for daily programming;<\/li><li>assist the classroom teacher in the supervision of pupils;<\/li><li>assist in the maintenance of the safety of the pupils;<\/li><li>required to perform lifting and\/or toileting and restraint;<\/li><li>the Special Education Assistant\/Early Years Assistant may be assigned any other duties within the job description.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>ability to work and relate effectively with
