St. Mary\u2019s College won the Sault Ste. Marie Overall Aggregate Cross Country Championship on Tuesday for the first time in its history.<\/p>

The Knights also won the overall Girls Championship thanks to victories in the Novice and Junior divisions.<\/p>

In the novice girls division,\u00a0Abigail Jaremko won gold, followed closely by teammate Tru Toms.\u00a0 Keira Berlingieri also cracked the top five with a 4th place finish.\u00a0 The Knights Kaitlyn Atwell placed 6th, Talia Wardell 11th, and Maija Bowden 12th.\u00a0 All six will compete at the NOSSA meet.<\/p>

The Knights won the Junior Girls Championship with Tori Carbone claiming the gold in decisive fashion.\u00a0 Emily Edgar was the silver medalist while Elizabeth Gavey placed 6th, and Lindsay Sarlo 9th.\u00a0 All four have qualified for NOSSA.<\/p>

In the Senior division, Keira Lamming finished 6th.\u00a0 Amelia DiCerbo and Veronica Allard will join Lamming at the NOSSA championships.<\/p>

On the boys side, the Knights won the Novice division title with Ethan Agawa winning gold by over a minute.\u00a0 Topher Barsanti took the bronze medal.\u00a0 Joshua Lamming finished 6th, Oliver Brown 8th, Abel Zachariah 13th, Brycen Diggins 19th.\u00a0 All will advance to NOSSA.<\/p>

In Junior Boys division, Kiran Juma won gold and Ben Norbo the silver to claim NOSSA berths.<\/p>

In the Senior division, Marcus DiCerbo placed 6th.\u00a0 He will be joined at the NOSSA championships by teammates Jack Weurdemann, McKena Cowan, Adam Morgenstern and Alan Abdulkadir.<\/p>
