Two groups associated with the board were recognized by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services this past week for their contributions to the wellbeing and safety of the community.
Our Lady of Lourdes has been recognized by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services for excellence in safety. The school has been accident free for 30 years, the most of the four schools that were recognized at the banquet.

St. Mary’s College teacher Mike Flammia, along with his wife Sue, who own the local Little Ceasars Pizza franchise, were recognized for their compassion and generosity by providing free pizzas to community centers in need of food.
