Mrs. Donnelly’s grade 5\/6 class at Sacred Heart in Espanola learned about treaties today thanks to a virtual live chat with two chiefs from the Anishinabek Nation.\u00a0<\/div>
Several other schools were on-line as they discussed with students, and took questions from them, about treaties.<\/div>
Sacred Heart was very excited to get a ‘shout out’ during the presentation and are looking forward to joining tomorrow’s discussions with Indigenous youth leaders.<\/div>
