Lead Exceedance – St. Augustine French Immersion Catholic School

This message is for all parents and guardians at St. Augustine French Immersion Catholic School in Wawa, under one of the following conditions:

Flushed Sample

An exceedance for lead under Ontario Regulation 243/07 (Schools, Private Schools and Child Care Centres) has been determined on a “flushed” sample.  As required, notification has been made to the appropriate authorities.  Corrective actions have been implemented.  That is, the consumption point has been removed from service and regular / enhanced flushing has begun.  A resampling of the consumption point will be done as soon as possible.  Corrective actions will remain in place until the issue is resolved and a Notice of Resolution is issued.
