St. Basil\u2019s School is a family atmosphere and an integral part of the community of White River.\u00a0 Many of our staff, students, and parents find solace in the halls of our school, and it really is a home away from home.\u00a0 We have wonderful relationships with local businesses, and a strong parish involvement in the school.\u00a0 We have many indigenous students and have fostered a strong relationship with elders in our community.<\/p>

St. Basil\u2019s has up to date technology that the teachers are utilizing in their classrooms to help our students utilize the imagination and creativity they possess.<\/p>

Our mission models the mission statement of the Board, as we would like to tap the full potential of each of our students while following the good word that the Gospel teaches us.\u00a0 We are a proud Catholic community, who is accepting of all who enters our doors.\u00a0 You can be assured that your child is in a safe and loving environment and that creates a tremendous learning opportunity.<\/p>

Lead Exceedance \u2013 Public Notice<\/h2>

This message is for all parents and guardians at St. Basil Catholic Elementary school in White River under the following condition:<\/p>

Flushed Sample<\/h2>

An exceedance for lead under Ontario Regulation 243\/07 (Schools, Private Schools and Child Care Centres) has been determined on a \u201cflushed\u201d sample.\u00a0 As required, notification has been made to the appropriate authorities.\u00a0 Corrective actions have been implemented.\u00a0 That is, the consumption point has been removed from service and regular \/ enhanced flushing has begun.\u00a0 Corrective actions will remain in place until the issue is resolved and a Notice of Resolution is issued.<\/p>
