Food Drive Underway

Mr. Calvano’s Grade 12 class is in the midst of a food drive to help out local food banks.  From September 26^th to October 21^st students are asked to bring food items for this SMC Action initiative.  Students visited classrooms on Friday and collected a large number of items for the food bin located in the school’s lobby.

This Wednesday, October 5^th, students can participate in a ‘Dress Down Day’ through a donation of two non-perishable food items.  The class who collects the most food items will win a prize.

If you miss Wednesday’s special event be sure to bring in food items before the drive ends later this month.
