Girls on the Gridiron

St. Mary’s College received interest from some students and acted upon it by setting up a training camp for girls tackle football.

Thirty students have been going over the basics of the game such as blocking, tackling and proper set up on offense and defense.

Practices will continue all week.  An intra-squad game is scheduled for Thursday, June 30 at 1 o’clock at Father Higgins Field.
