Quite a Harvest

Connect On:

Students in the Independent Living Skills(ILS) 2 class at St. Mary’s College worked with volunteers from Clean North last week to harvest the garden at SMC.

ILS1 student, Aiden McCall worked all summer with Clean North mentor, Don McGorman to plant and maintain the garden. Aidan was on hand to work along side his peers during the harvest.

A total of 675 pounds of potatoes, acorn and spaghetti squash were collected and donated to the United Way’s Harvest Algoma program and Grocer for Good.
