
Two students at St. Paul were recently rewarded for their efforts in a special poster contest sponsored by the Sault Ste. Marie Lions Club.
The International Peace Poster Contest was open to students age 11 to 13 in Sault Ste. Marie schools with over 100 entries received. This year’s theme was “We Are All Connected”.
Lions Club member, Barb Perry, a former HSCDSB teacher, made the presentation to first place winner Keyana Lancita (photo right) and second place finisher Claire Fewchuk (photo left).
Keyana’s claimed the top prize of $100 and her entry will now be judged at the Lions Club’s District competition.
Claire received the $50 second place prize for her entry.
