Lead Exceedance Public Notice

This message is for all parents and guardians at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Elementary school in Elliot Lake under the following condition:

Flushed Sample

An exceedance for lead under Ontario Regulation 243/07 (Schools, Private Schools and Child Care Centres) has been determined on a “flushed” sample.  As required, notification has been made to the appropriate authorities.  Corrective actions have been implemented.  That is, the consumption point has been removed from service and regular/enhanced flushing has begun – all fixtures within the facility will be flushed daily, prior to the start of the school.  Corrective actions will remain in place until the issue is resolved and a Notice of Resolution is issued.
