Special Notice

St. Mary’s Catholic School is equipped with partial mechanical ventilation and is currently being upgraded to full ventilation with an expected completion date sometime in early 2023.

All existing systems have been programmed to introduce increased amounts of fresh air, run systems for two hours before and two hours after building occupancy, and filters upgraded to Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values (MERV) of 13 (previously MERV-8).

In addition, 19 high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter units have been provided for specialty classrooms, office and administration areas, and classrooms with high enrolment.
