LOCATION: Holy Cross Catholic School, Sault Ste. Marie – 4 classes (including one possible virtual class)

SCHEDULE: July 8 to July 26, 2024 (approximately 90 hours program support; additional hours dedicated to preparation, training and reporting prior to and after the completion of the Summer Learning Program)

RATE OF PAY:  $51.77/hour

This position involves supporting the Summer Learning Program K – 3.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Planning, budgeting and preparing for the Summer Learning Program
  • Support the implementation of reading programs, interventions and assessments;
  • Support the integration of numeracy, STEAM, Indigenous perspective, and active living opportunities throughout the day;
  • Lead training and planning sessions with the team (dates to be determined by team);
  • Assist in analyzing student data and student work, plan and implement next steps;
  • Identify next steps to ensure student progress and success;
  • Experience working with Google Classrooms/Hangout/Meet;
  • Complete the Summer Learning Program Board Plan;
  • Complete the Summer Learning Final Report


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Primary, Junior & Intermediate Division Qualifications
  • Principal’s Qualification, Part 1
  • Religious Education, Part 1

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Principal’s Qualification, Part 2
  • Reading, Part 1
  • Special Education, Part 1
