POSITION: Long-Term Occasional Teacher – FSL

JOB CODE: LTO 2024-27

LOCATION: Sacred Heart, Espanola, ON

EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately

END DATE: June 28, 2024

The Board is looking for an occasional teacher who is a strong communicator, has strong interpersonal skills, is a team player, and is fluent in French.  First consideration will go to OCT-qualified teachers, however at this time we will also accept applications from non-certified teachers who are fluent in French.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • [OCT Certified Teachers] Primary, Junior & Intermediate Division Qualifications
  • [OCT Certified Teachers] French as a Second Language, Part 1

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • [OCT Certified Teachers] Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Specialist
  • [OCT Certified Teachers] Special Education, Part 1
  • [Non-Certified Teacher Candidates] Prior teaching and/or training experience in a classroom setting
  • [Non-Certified Teacher Candidates] Bachelor’s degree and/or pursuing BEd
