The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Daniel Lance, who entered God’s loving embrace on June 28, 2025. His loss is profoundly felt throughout our community, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Dan began his journey with HSCDSB on August 17, 1997, and served at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School for the entirety of his teaching career, from September 1, 1999, to June 30, 2023.

Throughout his many years at St. Paul, Dan was a devoted art teacher whose passion for the visual arts and drama left a lasting impression on students and staff alike. Known for transforming his classroom into a vibrant, inspiring space, Dan fostered creativity, imagination, and a genuine love for learning in all who entered.

May the eternal light of Christ shine upon Dan, and may his soul rest in peace.
