Due to ongoing inclement weather and its resulting impact on road conditions and municipal services, schools in the East region (Blind River, Elliot Lake, Massey, and Espanola) and in the North region (Wawa, Chapleau, White River, and Hornepayne) will remain closed on Tuesday, March 17.

Staff scheduled to work in those communities are asked to remain at home.

Schools and Board facilities in Sault Ste. Marie will reopen tomorrow for staff who are scheduled to work during the March Break.

We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates if necessary.
