POSITION: Continuing Education – Secondary Summer School Program Principal

LOCATION: St. Mary’s College, Sault Ste. Marie, ON (Classes will be held virtually and/or in-person)

SCHEDULE:  July 2 to July 31, 2026 (Pre-approved additional hours dedicated to preparation, training and reporting prior to and after the completion of the Secondary Summer School Program are also required.)

RATE OF PAY: $59.98/hour

The Board is seeking a dynamic Catholic educator who is able to work with the staff, students, parents, and community, during its secondary summer school program.

THE PROGRAM INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

  • Online credit courses (Grades 9 – 12)
  • Face-to-Face courses (1-2 sections, pending enrollment)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ontario Principals’ Qualification – Parts 1 & 2
  • Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Part 1
  • Intermediate/Senior Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the provincial Learning Management System (LMS)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Specialist
  • Guidance, Part 1
  • Teaching experience at the secondary level

This position is open to principals and vice-principals currently employed by the Board.
