POSITION: Elementary School Teacher – Prep

LOCATION: St. Francis French Immersion Catholic School, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

START DATE: Immediately

ANNUALIZED SALARY: $51,679 – 117,020

The Board is looking for a teacher who is a strong communicator, has strong interpersonal skills, is a team player and is fluent in French. First consideration will go to OCT-qualified teachers, however at this time we will also accept applications from non-certified teachers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • [OCT Candidates] Primary, Junior and Intermediate Divisions
  • [OCT Candidates] French as a Second Language, Part 1
  • [Non-Certified Teacher Candidates] Fluency in French

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • [OCT Candidates] French as a Second Language, Specialist
  • [OCT Candidates] Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Part 1
  • [OCT Candidates] Special Education, Part 1
  • [Non-Certified Teacher Candidates] Prior teaching and/or training experience in a classroom setting
  • [Non-Certified Teacher Candidates] Bachelor’s degree and/or pursuing BEd
