POSITION: IT Summer Student – Project Maintenance

LOCATION: IT Department, Mount St. Joseph Catholic Education Centre, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

EFFECTIVE DATES: June 22, 2026 to August 28, 2026

RATE OF PAY: $20.00/hour

DUTIES:

• Unpacking and repacking of new and used computer equipment
• Cleaning and servicing computer hardware
• Imaging computers at schools with new software used by students and teachers
• Ensuring network capabilities are functional with Board systems
• Enhancing computer workstations with new hardware upgrades
• Installation of wireless access points
• Must possess a valid driver’s licence and mode of transportation between school sites

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be between the ages of 15 to 24 years (up to 29 years of age for persons with disabilities) following their cooperative education placement.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution, or within six months of graduation
