POSITION: Long-Term Occasional Teacher – French as a Second Language & Arts (0.6 FTE)

LOCATION: St. Basil’s Catholic School, White River, ON

The Board is looking for an occasional teacher who is a strong communicator, has strong interpersonal skills, is a team player and is fluent in French.  First consideration will go to OCT-qualified teachers, however at this time we will also accept applications from non-certified teachers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • [OCT Candidates] Primary, Junior & Intermediate Division
  • [All Candidates] Fluent in French

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • [OCT Candidates] Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Part 1
  • [OCT Candidates] Special Education, Part 1
  • [Non-Certified Teacher Candidates] Prior teaching and/or training experience in a classroom setting
  • [Non-Certified Teacher Candidates] Bachelor’s degree and/or pursuing BEd
