The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board has confirmed its 2024-2025 School Year Calendar.   

In consultation with our coterminous boards and through a survey of employees, school communities and trustees, two options were reviewed.  At the February Board of Trustees meeting, one option was recommended to the trustees and then approved. 

As per provincial Regulation 304 the 2024-2025 calendar includes a 194 day school year compromised of 187 instructional days and 7 Professional Activity Days.  Exam dates have also been established for St. Mary’s College in Sault Ste. Marie.    

The first day of class for HSCDSB students will be Wednesday, September 4, 2024.  The last day of school will be Monday, June 30, 2025. 

Christmas Break will commence on Monday, December 23, 2024 and run through to Friday, January 3, 2025.  The March Break will be from Monday, March 10 to Friday, March 14, 2025.
