The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board has approved the School Year Calendar for 2025-2026.

The 2025-2026 School Year Calendar will be similar, though not identical, for all English and French-language schools and all Public and Catholic school boards in the Algoma and Sudbury Districts, including Blind River, Chapleau, Dubreuilville, Elliot Lake, Espanola, Hornepayne, Manitoulin Island, Massey, the North Shore, Sault Ste. Marie, Spanish, Wawa and White River.

Overview of the 2025-2026 School Year: Elementary and Secondary Schools

•  The first day of school for students will be on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
• The Christmas holiday schedule is set from Monday, December 22, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026.
• March Break is scheduled from Monday, March 16, to Friday, March 20, 2026.
• The last day of classes for staff and students is Friday, June 26, 2026.

Examination Days for Secondary Schools

• Friday, January 23 and Monday, January 26 to Thursday, January 29 (5 days)
• Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26, 2026 (5 days)
