The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board’s Parent Involvement Committee is hosting a free family event designed to showcase the many ways students learn, explore, and thrive through outdoor education.

Taking place on May 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the St. Kateri Outdoor Learning Centre, the event will highlight key areas of student learning, including Outdoor Education, STEM, Literacy, Numeracy, and Well-Being.

Families are invited to take part in a variety of interactive and engaging activities, including hands-on learning stations, nature hikes, rock art experiences, and cultural learning opportunities. Attendees will also have the chance to explore the property through guided tours, connect with educators, and learn more about the benefits of outdoor, experiential learning.

In addition to the educational experiences, the evening will include pizza and refreshments, as well as prizes and giveaways for participants.

This event is open to all families and offers a unique opportunity to experience firsthand how outdoor learning supports student engagement, curiosity, and overall well-being.
