It is with sadness that we share the passing of Germain Dalcourt. Germain was a trusted and valued colleague, and a highly respected principal and Supervisory Officer with the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board, where he proudly brought an immensely successful French immersion program in Sault Ste Marie.

Throughout his career, Germain was a dedicated advocate for Catholic education and a strong supporter of the growth and expansion of French Immersion programming within our Board. His leadership and commitment left a lasting impact on our schools and the communities we serve.

He was a frequent and welcome presence in the schools, always taking the time to build meaningful relationships with students and staff. His approach to leadership made a lasting impression on many.
