St. Mary’s College will be hosting its second annual Relay for Life on May 24th.  Last year’s inaugural event featured 100 participants and raised $35 thousand dollars, far exceeding the original goal.

The Co-Chairs of the SMC Relay for Life Committee provided the Board of Trustees an outline of this year’s event at their February meeting.

Abby Wing and Tori Carbone noted that fundraising has already begun and that the committee hopes to engage with Catholic elementary schools across Sault Ste. Marie to participate.

 

This year’s goal is $45,000!
