About the Program

• Open to all Grade 6 to 8 students in Sault Ste. Marie during the 2024-2025 school year.
• Students will actively engage in outdoor experiential learning at St. Kateri Outdoor Learning Centre and at Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School.
• Transportation from Holy Cross to St. Kateri and St. Kateri to Holy Cross will be provided.
• Transportation from home to school and school to home will only be provided to students who are in the Holy Cross zone.
• Indigenous perspectives and land-based teachings will be integrated into the program.
