Last week, HSCDSB hosted the Elementary School Track and Field Championships, which saw participation from students across the district and Sault Ste. Marie. The schools that added to the vibrant atmosphere of the meet were Holy Cross, St. Paul, St. Mary’s French Immersion, Notre Dame Du Sault, Holy Family, St. Francis French Immersion, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Basil, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Lourdes – Elliot Lake, St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart.

With hard work and determination, the Saints came out on top and captured the elementary school track and field title. It was a thrilling competition between the Saints and the Griffins, with only a two-point difference. Congratulations to all the participants who showcased their exceptional skills in this final track meet of the school year.

2. Holy Cross – 77 Points
3. St. Paul – 62 Points
