Welcome, Bievenue, Biindigen,

My name is Colleen Hannah and I am very excited to have this opportunity to welcome you to St. Mary’s College. Our staff strives to build an exceptional feeling of community among our students, and their families. As principal of St. Mary’s College, I am very proud to lead a secondary school that offers a unique educational experience for students within Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding areas.

St. Mary’s College has a long tradition of excellence in education which is rooted in a strong faith tradition that has been nurtured for over 60 years. We are an inclusive Catholic educational community whose foundation is inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Our students experience learning opportunities that ensure that all aspects of their intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual lives are fully developed. Our attention to academic excellence ensures that our students and graduates are well prepared for success as future leaders in our community and around the world. We offer our students a variety of excellent athletic, arts, language and technology programs.

At St. Mary’s College, our students and staff work collectively to make our world a better place. Our students develop the faith and the skills necessary to discern the important role that they are “called” to play in our ever changing global society. Through acts of service, our students and staff live their faith by providing for the less fortunate: locally, regionally, nationally and globally.

As St. Mary’s College Knights, our staff and students are encouraged to demonstrate the nobility of a knight, the soul of a saint and the heart of a lion as they develop the talents and gifts they have been given to bring positive change to the world.

Come join our dynamic school community and pursue an education that is tailored just for you!
