POSITION:       Continuing Education – Summer Transition Program Skill Builders

SCHEDULE:     August 10, 2026, to August 14, 2026 (Approx. 30 hours 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

                          August 24, 2026, to August 28, 2026 (Approx. 30 hours 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

RATE OF PAY: $36.43/hour 

The successful applicants will work with the teachers in the delivery of a summer transition program.  Primary duties will include maintaining student health and safety, supporting the reintroduction of procedures/routines in a school setting, and supporting the students with academics and self-regulation strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Successful applicants will be required to complete an orientation and training session
• Completed or enrolled in a college or university program in an education or child-related field (preferred)
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to support small groups and individual students both in person and virtually

This position is open to permanent and occasional teachers currently employed by the Board.
